Introducing the Percussion Plus nesting djembes set of 2 with dust covers – 10″ and 12″
Perfect for classrooms where space is at a premium, these innovative nesting djembes let the smaller 10″ drum slot neatly and fully inside the 12″ drum for compact storage. Each features a removable pop-off head that detaches easily, allowing quick set-up and tidy pack-away at the end of a session. Designed with education in mind, they’re lightweight, durable, and simple to use – a brilliant solution for schools where whole-class percussion sets are popular but storage space is limited.
Both djembes deliver lively, resonant tones with a crisp, cutting attack that works beautifully in group music-making. The pre-tuned synthetic heads provide consistent sound quality with no maintenance required, while the synthetic shell ensures reliable performance indoors or out. The detachable heads can also be used independently as hand drums, giving teachers more flexibility in lessons and encouraging broader musical exploration.
The included drawstring carry dust covers help keep the drums clean in storage. Built to withstand the demands of regular educational use, each djembe is fitted with a non-slip rubber base that helps it stay steady on any surface – perfect for young players. The shells are expertly crafted in a world-leading Balinese factory using a single-piece construction for strength and a smooth, comfortable profile.
Finished in Percussion Plus' popular, eye-catching World design, these djembes celebrate cultural diversity through drumming and bring a splash of colour to the classroom. Please note: Pop-off heads are available with or without the printed 'Slap' instructive graphics. Please select your preferred option from the drop-down menu above.
